What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash Extensions are a very popular service and product that lengthen and thicken your own natural eyelashes. Lash Extensions are single lashes made of synthetic mink that are applied to each individual natural eyelash one by one for a natural, beautiful and luscious look. Eyelash Extensions are perfect for special occasions or for day to day wear.
What do eyelash extensions look like when applied?
With proper application, meaning one synthetic eyelash applied to one natural lash they will look and feel completely natural. Nobody will know you have extensions...they will just think you were born with beautiful, long lashes!
How long will a set of eyelash extensions last?
When applied properly, eyelash extensions generally last the length of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes. As your natural lashes shed, the extension attached to each lash will go along with it. Everyone’s experience will differ based on day to day activities and general care. Lash fills should be scheduled every 2 to 3 weeks.
How often will I need to get lash fills?
We recommend getting a lash fill every 2 to 3 weeks. If you wait too long your eyelash extensions will fall out and you will require a full set. Your natural lashes fall every 45 – 60 days due to the natural growth cycle and are naturally replaced with the growth of a new eyelash. Other factors such as exposure to steam, oily skin care products, or touching your eyes a lot may cause the extensions to fall sooner. A fill is needed to replace any lashes that have fallen. An average fill appointment is about 1 hour.

Clean lashes 2-3 times per week with a 50-50 solution of baby shampoo and water. Apply with fingertips, gently massage, rinse, and pat dry.
How do I care for my new lash extensions?
Can I swim, shower, exercise, or visit a spa while wearing Eyelash Extensions?
Yes. The bonding agent we use is waterproof and allows you to shower, swim, exercise etc. Special care is required but overall maintenance is really pretty low. Please avoid getting lashes wet for about 24 hours after the eyelash application.
Is the product FDA approved? Is it safe?
Currently the FDA is not regulating eyelash extensions because the eyelash extensions are applied to the natural eyelash hairs and do not touch the skin. The application process is pain-free and relaxing that most clients fall asleep during the procedure. However, improper application by an unqualified eyelash technician can cause damage to your natural lashes. We recommend only using a Licensed Esthetician.
How long will it take to apply Eyelash Extensions, and how is it done?
Because we are very experienced, applying a full set of lashes normally takes anywhere from 2 to 2.5 hours. If you go to a newly certified professional it can take much longer. You will lay comfortably with your eyes closed on a massage bed while listening to relaxing spa music (most clients fall asleep :) Under eye pads will then be applied to cover your lower lashes and the extensions will be applied to each individual eyelash one at a time until desired look is achieved.

How do I choose the look I want?
Eyelash extensions are available in a number of lengths and thickness. We normally consult with you first to see what type of style you are interested in. We also determine what your lashes can hold in regard to size. Each person’s lashes will vary in strength and length and we take this into consideration when creating a look for you. The overall appearance of the lashes can range from very subtle and natural to bold and glamorous. We are happy to help you determine which look is best for you!
What if I decide I no longer want Eyelash Extensions? How do I have them removed?
If you decide you no longer wish to have eyelash extensions it is important to have them professionally removed. The process is quick, pain free and simple and most importantly keeps your natural lashes from being damaged or broken if you try to remove them on your own. Please take my advice and do not remove your lash extensions yourself.
Lash removal appointments take about 15-20 minutes.
